The Financial Intelligence Agency (FIA) hosted an awareness walk at the Francistown Council Stadium under the theme: “Walking against Youth Involvement in Financial Crimes.” The Vice President of Botswana and Minister of Finance, Mr. Ndaba Gaolathe, who served as the Chief Walker, graced the event. They also donated food hampers. As part of the build-up to the walk, an essay and art competition was held for students on 16th September 2025. 114 students participated in the competition 68 from junior schools and 46 from senior schools.
